"In the past five years, we have signed 25 agreements on educational and scientific cooperation with Chinese institutions," Igor Voitov, Rector of Belarusian State Technical University, said in the interview that Belarus and China have already been frequently cooperating in science, technology and education.

The initiation of China Railway Express has prompted the constant development of railway transportation, resulting in the shortage of railway-related talents. Since the beginning of 2023, Igor Voitov has visited China several times for the signing of agreements on cooperative education in railway-related majors.

On April 26th, Igor Voitov and Guangdong Communication Polytechnic have signed a memorandum of understanding, agreeing to focus on specific exchanges in competitive majors of both sides including transportation, rail traffic, automobile, information engineering technology and civil engineering. "Belarus is vigorously developing its transportation infrastructures. With the increasing demands of transportation and road traffic, we attach great significance to the training of personnel in transportation as well as in fields like logistics and electric vehicles," said Igor Voitov. He also noted that the cooperation in school running between China and Belarus will cultivate more excellent professionals to meet the talent demands in these areas.

After highlighting the significance of agreements signing and cooperation with Chinese universities, Igor Voitov disclosed that a group of heads of transport and logistics companies from Guangdong and Shanghai will visit Belarus in September, during which the two sides will have a further discussion about the development of transportation between China and Belarus.

中欧班列的驰骋，让铁路不断发展，铁路相关的人才也变得愈发珍贵和紧缺。今年以来，伊戈尔·沃伊托夫多次前往中国，就铁路等相关专业的两国合作办学进行签约交流活动。

4月26日，伊戈尔·沃伊托夫和广东交通职业技术学院签署了合作备忘录，约定着力在交通运输、轨道交通、汽车、信息工程技术、土木工程等双方均具有相当竞争力的专业进行具体对接。“白俄罗斯正在大力发展交通基础设施，随着运输和道路交通的攀升，对于该领域人员的培训以及物流、电动汽车等领域的人才建设都是十分注重的。”他表示，这些部门都需要专业人才，中白两国合作办学将能培训出更多优秀的专业人才。

伊戈尔·沃伊托夫进一步强调，和中国专业院校的协议签署和合作是非常重要的。他透露道，9月将有一批来自广东和上海的运输物流公司负责人前往白俄罗斯，届时双方将就中白之间运输的发展进行探讨。
